The Winship Cancer Institute DNA Microarray Core facility provides DNA microarray analysis of human, mouse, and rat genomes. We use the Applied Biosystems 1700 platform for chemiluminescent detection of probes. We also provide RNA quantity and quality analysis using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. This service is included in the cost of each microarray, but if additional samples need to be analyzed, please fill out the RNA Analysis Submission Form. Otherwise, only the DNA Microarray Sample Submission form needs to be submitted.
Applied Biosystems microarrays use 60-mer probes and novel chemiluminescence chemistry for exquisite sensitivity and specificity. Our robust labeling chemistries allow for the use of 2 ng to 40 µg of total RNA. The expertly curated genomic content is based on the best annotated and most comprehensive public and private databases resulting in unambiguous data. Powerful, biologist-friendly, and free data analysis software is available to scientist to alleviate data analysis and interpretation bottlenecks.
